The Brown Foundation, Inc. has distributed more than $1.7 billion in grants in Houston and across the state of Texas over its nearly 70-year history. Since inception, the Foundation has helped to build and sustain institutions that make Houston a world-class city, from leading educational institutions to renowned medical facilities to a vibrant arts ecosystem. Our mission today continues the vision set forth by the founders.
